Located at 411 W Morgan St, Raleigh, NC 27603, Times Square Deli operates as a restaurant serving Raleigh in North Carolina. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
This group covers the non-Asian restaurants, cafes, bars and food businesses that also appear in a mixed-cuisine food scene, including American diners, pizza, Mexican food, burgers, steakhouses and bakeries. Standard US restaurant norms apply: lunch and dinner service with a quieter stretch between, cards and tap-to-pay accepted almost everywhere, and a tip of 15-20% customary for table service. Fast food and quick-service counters expect payment up front and tipping is optional. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Many restaurants in this group take reservations online through third-party platforms, while casual and fast-food spots are walk-in only. Sales tax is added at the register on top of the menu price and varies by city and state, so the final total is usually a few percent higher than the posted prices suggest.

I had one of the worst experiences Iβve had at Morgan Street Food Hall at Times Square Deli. The food was disappointing from the start. It lacked freshness, tasted like it had been sitting out for far too long, and was nowhere near worth the price I paid. There was very little attention to quality, and the meal left me regretting my choice almost immediately. What really made the experience stand out, though, was the service. The older woman with glasses who helped me came across as incredibly condescending and dismissive throughout the interaction. Every question felt like an inconvenience, and her tone made it seem like customers were bothering her simply by ordering food. I left with the impression that she was carrying a negative attitude and taking it out on the people she was serving. Customer service can make up for a mediocre meal, but in this case both the food and the service fell short. With so many great options in Morgan Street Food Hall, I canβt see myself returning to Times Square Deli anytime soon.

We ordered the pastrami sandwiches. They were a decent size. Usually, pastrami is served warm but those weren't, so that was disappointing. I wasn't impressed with the Food market atmosphere. Seemed a bit run down. Service was, well, she took our order, took our payment and gave us our food.

Overall Score: 4.6/10 Steak and cheese spot at Morganβs Hall. Came out quick, hot, and tasted like a proper steak and cheese. Price feels way too high for the portion.

You can taste freshness here. The Philly cheesesteak was outstanding! It was served piping hot with fresh tasting veggies and they did NOT scimp on the cheese like many places do. They even got the bread right! The hoagie was firm on the outside to properly hold all that deliciousness but tender inside. The sandwich comes with a 1 oz bag of Cape Cod kettle chips. The owner, Katrina, gave me first rate service. She also own Opa Raleigh a few spots down. I would definitely come here again for another steak, but the Pastrami looks so good I might have to try that next time.

Above and beyond amazing. Was stopping by after checking out reviews. I was in such a sandwich mood and I wanted the absolute best. Well I found it! Not only is the sandwich so filling with the perfect amount of every topping but the meat portions are undeniably what a sandwich should be. They hand made all the sides and made it to order . The customer service and all of the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Def a place to stop by. I got mine to go this round but well be back to sit in.
